The Rejection of the King
Just as Jesus is rejected by many, so we his followers can expect persecution and rejection. But Jesus faced this in order that we might be saved from our unbelief, which is why we can confront the fact that we too are unbelieving disciples who need Jesus to accomplish our salvation for us entirely.
