Baptisms are so important to Christians because it is a public profession of faith of a believer, and a visual demonstration of their lives are united with Christ in his death, burial and resurrection.
We're excited that 12 people are getting baptised on Sunday, 30 October! They are: Lee Chin Juan, Loh Huilin, James Ng, and David Soh from 1st Congre, D Salomone, Henry Koh, Sean Lee, and Glen Tan from 2nd Congre, and Andrea Cheang, Rachel Koh, Shaun Tan, and Wong Shiau Yin from 3rd Congre.
We invite you to attend and witness the baptisms of these 12 brothers and sisters, hear their testimonies of how God has worked in their lives. Scripture reminds us that Jesus saved us not to leave us to a solitary life of faith, but that the Spirit baptised us into one body. This is why the baptisms of these brothers and sisters matter to us, as one body we celebrate and welcome them into our spiritual family that God has placed us into.
The baptisms will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 3.00pm-4.30pm (to be seated by 2.45pm). Limited spaces are available, so please sign up by emailing Gary by Sunday, 23 October.
