Part of our vision for RHC is for all our congregants to experience flourishing, joyful lives in the family of Christ. A key aspect of such flourishing is the building of a strong and healthy community. We do this by encouraging close friendships through the gospel, both with people who are similar to us and different from us.
Our various Congregations, CGs, and events provide opportunities for people to interact with others from different life contexts—different ages, life stages, and jobs. These allow people to bond over a shared mission while broadening perspectives beyond our immediate concerns. We also organise events catered to specific life stages, such as “Parents’ Gym” for parents and “Cultivating Connections” for married couples. These events provide platforms for building community, mutual encouragement, and learning how to flourish within specific seasons of life.
With the initiative of some volunteers, we're excited to introduce our upcoming event, Gospel Friendships. This gathering is for singles of all ages, from 21 to 100 years old! Just as with any other stage of life, there are particular joys, opportunities and challenges associated with the single life. Sharing these experiences with others on a similar journey, regardless of age, can be incredibly enriching. Our goals for Gospel Friendship are two-fold: to strengthen our sense of community and to offer mutual encouragement.
