"Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving." (Colossians 4:2)
Chinatown is Singapore’s largest Historic District, with many of its old buildings given conservation status. Contrary to its name, Chinatown is not exclusively Chinese - it includes communities of other ethnicities, and various places of worship can be found in the area too. Today, you’ll also find modern skyscrapers sitting in the backdrop, new residential developments sprouting, and a thriving community of restaurants and businesses.
Simply put, with its rich history, unique mix of old and new, and diverse cultures - Chinatown is a melting pot of many different peoples and backgrounds.
Let us take some time (and energy) to consider the opportunities and needs around where God has physically and strategically placed our church. We’ll be gathering to walk and pray at various points of Chinatown, ending at the Kukoh neighbourhood where our M&J friends will be doing a food distribution on the same evening.
Join us on 12 September evening.
See you there!
