As a church, we would like to be more intentional about welcoming, engaging, integrating, and discipling people who walk through our doors, including those who are neurodiverse. Our ministry teams are exploring what this could look like for our church.
At this stage, we want to put together a team to advise on the direction that we're taking and potentially provide basic training for staff and volunteers. We are also working with another organisation to help with training, which will take place toward the end of the year.
We would also like to engage parents, siblings, and caregivers to learn how we can better care for neurodiverse children and congregants in our midst.
We are looking for:
