[Registration closed] Training: Engaging Neurodiverse Adults

  • Furama City Centre (map)

Thank you for your interest! We have closed registrations.

As a church, we want to be more intentional about welcoming, engaging, integrating and discipling people who walk through our doors, this includes those who are neurodiverse. Our purpose goes back to the Gospel, because of the finished work of Christ on the cross, Christ has welcomed us into his kingdom (Rom 15:7), we therefore welcome one another.

We are organising a training with Koinonia Inclusion Network (KIN) to better equip and train us to engage and integrate people with special needs. Neurodiversity refers to individuals with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and dyslexia.

The engagement of neurodiverse individuals has a wide range of approaches. Our focus for this training on 3 October is focused on adults. We encourage those who are interested to attend this.
