We each have a role to play in helping others realise their God-given potential, especially those facing adversity.
Join us for this year’s Hope in Action Forum: Our Stories Intertwined, where you’ll hear first-hand from inspiring community members who have started businesses or bravely faced mental health struggles. They’ll share stories about those who have journeyed with them, and how they are now actively empowering others in similar situations.
There will also be an opportunity for you to participate in the stories of some of these community members by supporting featured local businesses. Before the panel, we will have a mini-marketplace where you can pick up your pre-ordered snack or dinner set, and check out other booths. We hope you’ll be encouraged by talking to the entrepreneurs directly, appreciating their talents and, of course, enjoying their goodies.
About our Speakers:
Esther: a resilient single mother of 4, founder of Shanalicious. We can't wait for you to try her cookies!
Alison: artist & entrepreneur behind Ally Crafts Co and Ally Learns Co, working with talented local community members
Eric: a professional in the youth mental health space who will share his personal journey and insights about weaving our stories with those of youth facing adversity
Yong-en Care Centre: an organisation with rich experiences supporting people through various lifestages with a community-based approach...in many ways, tying it all together!
Through the interactions and sharings, this event will be a great opportunity to consider how we can each play a role in stirring up those around us to love and good works.
