[Registration closed] Training: Engaging Neurodiverse Children & Youth

  • Furama City Centre (map)

Thank you for your interest! We have closed registrations.

As a church, we want to be more intentional about welcoming, engaging, integrating and discipling people who walk through our doors, this includes those who are neurodiverse. Our purpose goes back to the Gospel, because of the finished work of Christ on the cross, Christ has welcomed us into his kingdom (Rom 15:7), we therefore welcome one another.

We are organising a training to help us better engage children and youth who are neurologically diverse. Neurodiversity refers to individuals with autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, and dyslexia. This training is primarily meant for parents and our Kids Ministry and Youth Ministry volunteers.

There will be a panel comprising parents and professionals in this field.

Our goals include

1. A desire to better care for and engage children and youth with special needs

2. A desire to better support parents / caregivers at RHC
